Silk is an established fine art medium not limited to wearables and textiles. The tactile quality of silk exudes texture and vibrancy in my artwork.

My artwork is whimsical exploding with color and texture. Although I paint with acrylics and oil and love multi media collage, my current passion is painting on silk. White silk is stretched and treated before applying waxes and French dyes that are later steamed into the silk for permanence
